About the 1/2 Beef
The 1/2 Beef is perfect for larger families or a household that eats beef often. You'll end up with 230-240 lbs of packaged beef after the processor cuts/trims the 1/2. The 1/2 beef allows you to have total control over how you want the beef cut and packaged. You'll get a whole side of the animal..
Cuts you can choose to receive:
- Steaks - Ribeye (bone in), T-bones, Porterhouse, Sirloin, Round
- Roasts - Sirloin Tip, Chuck, Arm, Rump
- Ground Burger
- Can Request Ribs, Brisket, Stew Meat, Soup Bones, Oxtail, Liver, Heart, Tongue
Pricing Breakdown
$4.55 per lb based on the "hanging/dressed weight". ( $3.45/lb plus butcher's processing of $1.10/lb based on the hanging weight.)
The "hanging weight" will range from 400-470lbs (Take home yeild is approx. 55% of the hanging weight after cutting/trimming).
An average sized 1/2 will have a final total of $1,970 with the butchering costs included. This will vary a few dollars depending on the size of your steer.
Total pricing will end up in the range of $1,820-$2,138 depending on the actual weight of the animal.

About 99% of the time customers will pick up beef at the butcher shop when it's ready to pickup. If you are not able to, we can figure out a delivery fee depending on location we're traveling to.
